S3K artworks

On Monday and Tuesday of Week 11, Belmore South PS is holding the ‘Belmore South Art Show Extravaganza!’  So, S3K have been creating like crazy the past few weeks!!

As we have been studying Aboriginal Australia this term, all of our art works have been based on an Indigenous artwork, artist or artform.

Check out our talent!

These art works are based upon Bronwyn Bancroft’s art

We’ve named these artworks ‘From Cadigal to Canterbury’. We created these artworks out of respect to the traditional owners of Canterbury-The Cadigal people.

We based these weavings on traditional eel traps. We used rafia, wool and bells to create our own unique traps!
